thanks; i'm not sure i want to put that much into a 1985 model tractor with 2400 hours; thats probably about all the tractor is worth; one of the folks i work with just bought a kubota with a FEL; 24hp; for $3500; sure seems like a bargain. i paid $3500 for this B6100/4wd/with a rotor-tiller/flail mower/and belly mower, and thought i got a good deal..but puttin another 2500-3000 into it is probably not to wise..

i have a 1020; gas, no power steering; i've been asking $3500 for it for
6 months now, no takers; yet i see folks paying $2500 an more for a 8N;
figure that one out?? if my 1020 was diesel with ps; i'd keep it; i like it
better than the 2240 i bought to replace it.

i have a belly mower for a B6100; i haven't figured out how it all goes together yet, but on this one, the part on the front is an electric clutch, just like on a car air conditioner; there is a lot of parts that are fastened to the lower part of the tractor to mount the mower. i don't know how a B6100 compares to what you have..

i just purchased a 1985 B6100/4wd with a bellymower, rototiller and "flail"?? mower.<br>i am looking for the manuals for the tractor and equipment. What hp is the B6100??<br>how well does the rear "flail" mower work??? thanks, rick
